A commission done for the clients parents. Was fun to do! Their personalities really showed through in the reference photos I was given...and I did my best to convey the same in the finished piece. Their facial expressions actually dictated what their poses and what the scenery would be.

Leia
One of my very first pet portraits..done for a good friend and very talented man,
This is of his pet poodle, Leia. Was a lot of fun to do. Had to match the colors to fit Leia's room.

Golden 50th
This was a special piece commissioned for the 50th wedding anniversary of a friends in laws.
Talk about pressure to get it done right!
Once again, i opted not to go the super distorted road and tried to keep things
cute, but still dignified enough to fit the occassion.

Princess Emma
This is a companion piece to "Willminator!", his sister Emma wanted to be drawn as a princess ( and she is her daddy's princess!). I have the more finished version saved somewhere, when I find it, i'll post it here.
Caricature Example 1 : "Willminator"
This piece was commissioned by a dear friend of mine, for his son Will. It was a bit challenging because I didn't want to distort too much, as most other caricaturists often do. The strange thing with caricaturing children is that if you distort too much..any semblance goes out the window. It took a few tries but I finally came up with something that was acceptable though in the end, I had to paint in sunglasses to get the full Terminator effect.
